"Man, you never let me have any fun." Because paint fumes? Hell yeah. But she's mostly just being a brat (her favorite occupation), and goes to throw open one of the windows before coming back over to observe the paint looking more like paint and not a puddle of piss.
"Do you think this is gonna be enough?"
The room isn't huge, but it's nicer than anything else Ellie's ever been given. What if they end up with a pink, green, and blue room? She'd have to cover the rest with comic book pages or something.
... which isn't a totally bad idea, in her mind, but she can already imagine the looks she'd get from Joel and Tess if she suggested it. They don't get it.
